First, our host, Locklan, was wonderful. He was there to greet us, patient with us about an early arrival, and so accommodating when my partner came down with a cold and even had cough drops on standby, again, he was lovely and I can’t say enough good things about him. My observation upon arrival was that this place was not anywhere near as secluded as I believed it to be based on photos on the Airbnb site. During orientation we were also told about areas that were restricted to us as per the neighbors complaints. We were asked to not walk above the tide line if we were off of BTB property and we got an extra talking to about it because some other guests had been confused about property lines. Either way, it gave strong vibes of locals not being happy that there is an Airbnb being run in the middle of the spit, between all of there houses. Overall, felt unwelcome. Lastly, we stayed there during a week of heavy weather. No roof or shelter over our cooking area was disappointing.

Loved our stay! Perfect getaway. Note that the water taxi is not included in the cost. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating for the soul. Already talking about next time we come. Make sure you start the hot tub early and check on the fire to make sure it is still burning. It was so nice that if it was windy on one side of the beach, you could just walk to the other side out of the wind. Great airbnb.

Between Beaches is a wonderful place to see and experience. It's just so special with too many amazing features to list. You have to go check it out for yourself.

Between beaches is a really unique place. We loved walking up and down the two different beaches- tons of bald eagles, i saw an octopus, lots of jellyfish, and a perfect sand dollar. Great photography for the bald eagles. Guests should know that the water taxi did cost $172 more for the two of us (86pp round trip) and that felt a bit expensive in addition to the cost of the stay. The decoration of this place is truly artistic. The hot tub is awesome - we enjoyed this on a rainy afternoon and saw a double rainbow right from the tub. Hope you know how to split wood and start a fire for it. The tent was cozy and warm with the heater and heavy blankets. The outdoor kitchen is fun. We had a great time
