Bob and Barb have a truly amazing property and they take great care of the many acres. It’s rare to find such a gem for peace and quiet. We enjoyed riding the many trails and spent a lot time just soaking in the views from the porch. The cabin is well stocked with basic cooking needs. I would recommend bringing paper towels and other supplies you may need. There is a waiver you must sign to ride the trails so make sure to give that to Bob upon check in. We really hope to come back someday and definitely recommend this place to others. Thanks Bob and Barb!

Robert and his wife were great hosts. The cabin was perfect, well equipped, and a very private location. We had a very enjoyable few days there for a guys trip. Rode dirt bikes on the trails and on the dirt roads surrounding the property. We had a nice time at the fire pit, the shooting range, and the property. Robert was great to talk to, he was very friendly and personable and helpful with the few questions we had. Likely going to be a return trip for my son and I for a guys weekend.

Super private and beautiful location! The cabin is super cozy and accommodating. We brought our dirt bikes and ATV to ride the 15 miles of private trails. Highly recommend to book with Bob

We'd loved our stay in Shinglehouse. The cabin is really quiet, clean, and comfortable, with everything we could possibly want. The weather was snowy, which made for beautiful hikes, and then coming back to this wonderful cabin.
