The cottage is so unique and welcoming. It really felt like a wilderness retreat while being a convenient distance from town. We loved the cool design, amazing art work, and it was stocked with everything we needed. Bruce and Susan left delicious treats and were super helpful with the details. We're excited to stay here again!

Bruce and Susan’s cabin is the perfect landing pad for your trip to the island. Centrally located and with close trail access, it was perfect for us and our dog to explore for the weekend. We were so impressed by how efficient the space is. You can tell that Bruce and Susan have spent a lot of time and careful attention to design and organize the space so that it is comfortable and has everything you need. We also really appreciated the homemade quiche, yogurt, granola, bread and coffee left for us to snack on. There are not many Airbnbs that operate this way anymore and it was a very nice, personal touch. Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic, relaxing, quiet stay at Bruce and Susan’s. Location was great, being close to everything but tucked away in the forest with beautiful views from your kitchen windows. Bed was comfortable and their place had everything we needed to cook our meals. Our dog loved it too! Thanks for everything Bruce and Susan! All the best.

This little cabin in the woods was a great place for our family and dog to stay in for a nice getaway. The cabin was well stocked and had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the breakfast prepared for us and the quiet, natural surroundings. The only thing to note is that shower and toilet are separated and the bathroom with the toilet is not in a heated location, so if you need to use the toilet later at night it does get a bit cold in there. Not a huge issue for us though and overall it was a lovely stay.
