The hosts were very nice people, but one has to be honest in reviews, and this place was simply far below standard, especially for the price - which was very high for Peru. It was filthy. There was dirt all over the floor - not a little, you could feel it with every step. Under the bed were piles of dirt and debris. There were black hairs on the toilet and in the shower, and scum on the seating rim of the toilet. The shelves where the glasses and so forth were kept had a thick layer of dust. The stated amenities included a kitchen ("space where guests can cook their own meals"), but there was no cook top of any sort. The stated amenities also included a washing machine, but it was broken down. Breakfast was included, but we were limited to one egg per person. This seemed incredibly petty, especially at $87 a night. Eggs are very inexpensive in Peru. The hosts provided keys to our room, but refused to do so for the car gate, so every time we came or went we had to find them - turning what should have been a simple process in a giant pain. The wifi worked intermittently.

Clean and comfortable. Loved the quirkiness of it. Our hostess was very sweet and helpful. The only problem in Nazca is the dang dogs. The strays barked all night long. Not their fault by any means. I suggest ear plugs.
