So come to Bozeman, Montana... Heart of the Last Best Place!
Gorgeous location with breathtaking views. We loved the fireplace and hot tub. We wish the beds upstairs were a little more comfortable, but might just be more suitable for children. Recommend for a weekend retreat in the woods!
Katherine’s place was beautiful, comfortable, and accessible by 4x4 vehicles and all-wheel drive Honda Civic. The stairs were as described in her listing, and 4 of us were either 70 or over…..had not trouble, but were careful. Two gates were available for controlling access, and there was a fence available around the Wood stove. We felt safe and at ease with safety. The weather was extremely cold (-30 degrees) and this was somewhat unusual and sudden (after a mild winter thus far). The heater and wood stove were a great asset to keeping warm in this kind of cold. Didn’t venture into the hot tub, but it looked nice and wasn’t far from the house. The rental manual covered everything, and we referred to it often! Check out was very easy. We love the are and would consider renting here again in the future. Stay warm out there!!!!
Absolutely fantastic location. The location, the view, the house... all amazing. Greatly appreciated the opportunity to be a guest!!!
Beautiful views all around. Very clean with good instructions on how to get there and how to use the amenities. Don't try to drive up there with a small car.
This is a fairly secluded and quiet place. You won't be hearing neighbors or traffic. A quiet friend lives in the studio above a 2 car garage in the distance. You might hear coyotes in the distance or the bugling of elk! As you drive the 3/4 of a mile along a gravel Bangtail Trace Rd. to my home, you'll pass only one house on your right before arriving at our driveway. Driveway is a bit steep. 4 wheel drive is required in winter.
It's a 15 minute drive to Clyde Park for basics. Bozeman is 30 minutes and Livingston is 35.
Bridger Bowl is a 15 minute drive for fantastic downhill skiing.
Crosscut is about 12 minutes away for gorgeous cross country skiing.
It's a 30 minute drive into Bozeman, 45 minutes to airport, 20 minutes to Clyde Park, and 40 minutes to Livingston.
