Quaint 3 unit townhouse-like home. Each unit has it’s own key and come fully accommodated with bed, bathroom, stove and fridge. My brothers and a friend of ours stayed here for about 5 days during our visit. It’s located at the end of a small street, so it’s really private. The units are large and if you rent out all three, could easily accommodate 4-12 people depending on how you worked out the sleeping situation. There are 4 queen sized beds, one in each bottom unit and two in the top unit. Each unit also comes with a hammock. However, there is plenty of space in the units themselves if you brought a blow up mattress. Both the bottom units have mini fridges and a stove. The top unit has a full sized fridge and stove. All the units have bathrooms with toilet, sink and shower. The water heats up quick, though you might want to take a cold shower anyway depending on the time of year you visit. The water in the reservoir did run out on us, but Alberto and Dorean sent someone to fix it right away. Alberto and Dorean are quick to respond, responding within minutes of my initial text. They answered all my questions and always had a solution. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Mahahual. The house is located about a 20 min walk from the beach, so I’d recommend renting bikes or renting a car. We had a car, so we just drove to the beach. Took us less than 5 mins. If I had enough money, I’d buy the house and live here. Highly recommend.

Las instalaciones estaban bien, espaciosas, buena limpieza en camas y baños. Cada cuarto cuenta con aire acondicionado y ventiladores. Sin embargo, Mi estadía fue un tanto decepcionante: Una de las razones porque rente la casa fue la azotea y la lavadora que estaba anunciada , al llegar la azotea estaba desordenada y con mucho polvo. Y al querer usar el equipo de lavado, recibo un mensaje donde se me notifica que la lavadora no es para uso de huéspedes, esos detalles los puedo dejar pasar pero lo que realmente me molesto fue que los dueños se presentaron en la propiedad sin notificar o sin siquiera tocar la puerta principal, estábamos desayunado cuando ellos entraron a la propiedad básicamente anunciándose estando afuera de la puerta de mi habitación, y lejos de venir con una actitud pro activa y para mejorar mi estadía, vinieron con una actitud agresiva, para demostrar que ellos tenían la razón, al grado que llamaron a su personal de limpieza en altavoz para corroborar que ellos estaban en lo “correcto” Me he hospedado en muchos Airbnb’s alrededor del mundo y NUNCA había experimento semejante situación. Es una propiedad enfocada para que únicamente llegues a dormir y te vayas. Por el precio y la distancia (alejada del centro) yo no la recomiendo.

Extraordinario lugar. La casa es espectacular. Alberto es un host excepcional. Si vas a Mahahual non dudes en quedarte aquí. Cine por ciento recomendable.
