Had a wonderful stay The Bothy! Brilliant location and a lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for a stop in the Highlands.

We had a wonderful time in Scotland made possible by this wonderful home away from home. The hosts are wonderful people that quickly reacted to our communication and had left us a handwritten christmass card and lots and lots of instructions with fun things to do/visit and nice places to eat in the area. They send these both beforehand and they left them in the cabin as well. The instruction booklet also came with handy instructions about the heating, oven, etc in the cabin. The hosts clearly put in a lot of work to make our stay as positive and stressfree as possible even though it was during the holidays. I highly recommend this Bothy. :)

Amazing little place, had everything you would need. Jacqui and David were great hosts and went above and beyond for us. Loved it.

Very cute place, walking distance to quite a few points of interest. No big problems, but a few things about the place. Firstly, there was mold and a smell in the "wet room" (bathroom). Secondly, the stove instructions were straight from the manufacturer and were quite difficult to figure out; not non-english speaker friendly. Lastly, the instructions were left to control the downstairs heat, but it was definitely locked and the hours that it was supposed to be on were wrong. We also did not have oil provided for cooking, which was in the listing. Got in late and it ruined our first dinner, as the shops were closed. Not necessarily practical, but it is a small Scottish bothy, and without some small issues, we would have absolutely loved our stay
