Following our booking the delightful and before checking in, the superb and experienced hosts, Caroline and Ralph, had responded to our messages quickly and had been very approachable and helpful - which we found very reassuring. My husband and I, having followed the detailed instructions easily found the accommodation’s location. We parked in the dedicated area, and they greeted us warmly, making us feel very welcome and at ease. The couple ably and diligently showed us how to use the chalet’s effective heating system and shower etc. Then, having ensured that we were settled, they gave us complete privacy for the rest of our stay. The lovely chalet is located in the beautiful rear garden of our hosts’ home but has its own secure separate entrance. It was spotlessly clean and extremely well appointed. The king size bed was very comfortable, and we found the bedding and towels to be super soft. The modern and sleek shower room has a heated towel rail and the shower itself is easy

Clean and comfortable. The host’s were very nice and friendly . I did not notice that a hair dryer was not provided and Caroline kindly lent me hers.

Having just spent 4 night at the Garden lodge we have to say it was great. Caroline and Ralph were extremely helpful. Before we arrive Caroline replied very quickly to my message. Once we arrived both she and Ralph talked us through how to get in via the private entrance. Then they both showed us where everything was and what places to visit. The lodge was lovely and so was their garden and all very peaceful. Everything you need for a lovely stay away from home. WiFi was good too. We took ourselves twice to the White Hart pub that’s just down the road as well as the local fish and chip shop also round the corner. The co op is handy too especially for the paper in the morning. We visited the Naval dockyard and a national trust house as well as Marwell zoo. All we can highly recommend. Looking forward to staying with Caroline and Ralph again. Thank you both.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Caroline’s stay. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and at home. Caroline and her husband are super friendly and so easy to talk to. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Our stay was warm and homely and we lacked for nothing. The location of the stay was ideal for us to get out and see the sights in this area of Hampshire such as Portsmouth and Beaulieu. I can highly recommend Caroline’s place. Bev
