My name is Bettina, born & raised in Curaçao, studied Art, Fashion, Tourism & Travel in the Netherlands. I’m a Hospitality & Tourism guru with 30+ years' experience in this field. I decided to venture out my property (home) and extra land in the back of the home, to build something sustainable for my only daughter Zoe and her future. "E Cas di Zoe" means The House of Zoe, was born after I needed resources as a Single Mom to take care of my daughter and her upbringing. The property is named after my only daughter to carry on the dream of her mother one day. Zoe is studying International Business abroad, so she will be well equipped to expand her mom's vision when she returns. I started out by renting rooms with closed off doors (connecting) of the property. This went very well, and it was well accepted by all my visitors and guests. During Covid, when I was out of cashflow, I realized I had to revamp my Business Model and I decided that less is more. I started minimizing in my own life and became a minimalist. I moved to an apartment I have in the back, and I decided to open my house to those who will love my art passion and concept. I still do rent the individual rooms, as many of my repeaters prefers a spacious room then the whole house, wants a safe place to lay their heads at night and a great bed. Currently I'm also building a sustainable garden at the back of the house, where the idea is to allow each of my returning Guests and new Guests, to plant a seed for greener feeds in the city. It can be vegetable or fruit. Also in the planning is an outdoor shower and an outdoor kitchen. I want to spend and share more with my Guests, but Covid impeded this, so now I want ensure we can be outdoors together on the property. This property is a home, a place where I live and feel safe. And I do hope that if you choose to stay with me, you will allow the peace that this 80 years old renovated home has, to reach you. It surely did to me when I bought this property 12 years ago.
