It was a great stay, the appartment had all I needed and even more. The main room was cosy and the bed in bedroom was super comfy. The place is not near city centre, however, you can easily get there by bus and subway within an hour. Traevor was very friendly and helpful host. The only nuance is that for a tall person this apartament may be an issue due to low ceilings. I’m 1.9m height myself and at first it was a problem as I was hitting my head constantly. However, I got used to it and, as I mentioned, besides that I had a pretty good time staying at Traevor’s place. It’s a brilliant place for its price! 🙌

The place was very nice and close to public transportation. Traevor was friendly and available for every thing we needed. The place looks exactly like the photos, but wasn't very clean, and you can't control the air conditioner from the apartment.

Traevor is a great host and always answered our questions right away! His place is within walking distance to a bakery which was great and grocery stores. Pretty easy 20-30 minute drive downtown depending on the traffic too! The place was perfect for our 3 week stay.

Traevor was a great host for my two week stay. The apartment is cozy and well-equipped. The neighbourhood is about 30mins from midtown Toronto by bus, convenient if you need to get into town.

I stayed at Traevor’s basement apartment on my last trip to Toronto. I was there for 10 days and I had a great experience. It was tucked atop hill in the Eglinton/Caledonia valley in the west end. The views were spectacular! The unit is quiet with the entrance at back (checkin was so easy). Since it was on a hill, the living room had a lovely walkout to the backyard. It did not feel like a basement. Traevor and his dog live upstairs on the main floor and he was very responsive. Expect regular (light) stomping since it’s an old house. It was not a bother. The unit had a large living room and amazing dining/work space. It was bright, spacious, and beautifully designed. The small kitchen had full-size appliances, and I had enough supplies for cooking (I cooked 8 days out of 10). It was perfect! The bathroom had strong shower pressure (w/ reliable hot water). Excellent wifi throughout! Close to groceries, cafes, restaurants, & future Eglinton light rail. I would return in a heartbeat!
