Really nice place. The view is stunning from the sun room. If you are looking to relax, go for a swim it is a perfect spot. I would come back with my family anytime.

I loved my 3 nights and days here. It was during the week and I found it so beautiful and peaceful even on rainy days. I was traveling alone and felt very comfortable on the property. Laura and Craig were very generous hosts while always respecting my privacy. Everything you read about the sunroom bedroom is accurate. It was a delight. Slept in late, napped later. And the birds! Being perched so close to the water’s edge offered some wonderful birdwatching opportunities. The first morning I woke up to see a family of swans on the lake just outside the window. Didn’t even have to raise my head from the pillow. The bunkie itself reminded me of cottages from my youth but with 21st century updates like indoor plumbing! There is a nice little day hike about 25 minutes drive away at Rock Dunder and some of Kingston’s finest restaurants are 30 minutes. All in all it made for a lovely week.

Lovely stay in this Lakeside bunkie. It was peaceful and quiet. Just as described. Lots to explore in the region. A fantastic way to spend a week. Thank you for hosting!

The bunkie was the perfect place to escape work & city life. The views are stunning - we especially enjoyed sunrises, moonrises and thunderstorms from the sunroom in the back. Both of the beds in the bunkie were super comfortable and we slept like babies. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, and utensils you need to make some solid meals. The only minor downfall is lack of freezer space for ice - we bought bags of ice as needed and kept them in our cooler in the coolest space we could find. There was plenty of kindling and newspaper available to start our fires. There were tons of books, movies, and games to keep you entertained inside. Plenty of spaces to sit outside to enjoy breakfast and a coffee. Laura & Craig were very friendly and welcoming in passing. They left an indepth booklet of everything you need to know and suggestions for places to visit such as Gilmour Beach and Glenburnie Grocery (so cute and it smelled so good in there!). They were quick to respond and always made sure we were enjoying our stay. We're already looking forward to coming back!
