Las Rozas, and especially Monterozas, is an area of exclusive single-family homes, in the northwest of Madrid. We are 17 km from Madrid center and we are also very close to the Sierra Madrileña. Therefore, it is great whether you want to visit Madrid City, or if you want to make excursions to incredible sites such as El Real Sitio de el Escorial or eat a Castilian suckling pig in Segovia.

12.- Segovia: You can see the Aqueduct, the Cathedral, the Alcazar... And while we are, try one of their typical dishes, eat suckling pig, roast lamb, partridges, some beans ... There is so much so rich!
13.- La Granja: You have at your fingertips the Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso, with its gardens and the spectacle of its fountains, the Royal Glass Factory of La Granja or the Palace of Riofrío.
14.- Enjoy Walking Routes: In maximum 1 hour from here, you can discover routes throughout the mountains of Madrid, climb the Laguna Grande de Peñalara, Path through the Chorrera del Hornillo, a walk through the Forest of Finland, Route through the Sestil stream in the Port of Canencia, and in 1 hour and a half, Route from the Barranca to the peak of the Maliciosa.
And we don't say anything about what you can do in the city of Madrid, because we wouldn't have enough space... But if you come and feel like it, we can give you ideas!
If you come to Madrid for tourism, probably, your stay will fall short!
We are well connected by train and bus.

We have very good access by Bus and Train, called "Cercanías". But if you want to make excursions in the mountains, we recommend the car. You can park your vehicle on the street, in front of the front door of the house. If you want or need it, we can help you plan your trip better!
