The Hen House and Amanda both exceeded our expectations! Wonderful stay in a unique property well loved and cared for by its owner! The garden was gorgeous and peaceful to sit in and enjoy the quiet and fresh mountain air. Our dog loved laying in the grass and watching the chickens! We’ll be back, especially because Amanda welcomed us like family and didn’t miss a thing! She’s stocked her place with every comfort you could possibly need from bath goodies to fresh eggs! Thanks, Amanda for a wonderful time!

Incredible place, my family loved the house and property. The kids loved feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs. Bed are comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. The area around the home is wonderful as well. Beautiful mountain backdrop. The outdoor area is beautifully maintained and the porch is comfortable. Will absolutely stay here again. Amanda is very responsive to any questions or needs that you have.

A “few” words wouldn’t be enough to convey what a magical home host Amanda is kindly sharing with the world. We felt so fortunate to stay here. From the moment we walked in, we knew and felt the love and care that has gone into creating the Hen House. This is a place to come and disconnect from busy lives and connect with nature in total peace and privacy. The grounds are meticulously cared for, and yet they feel natural and organic. The house is unique and whimsical. Beautiful. Special. You can feast your eyes in every detail, outside and inside. A feast for the eyes and soul. This will remain one of our top experiences in our many years of booking Airbnbs. Most importantly, Amanda is a really wonderful human being, and we loved our spontaneous exchange with her. My fiancé and I came to the area to elope and I’m so glad we picked Amanda’s spot to stay. It’s a cute, cozy cabin with beautiful surroundings. We got to meet her and she was so friendly and answered any questions we had about the stay or recommendations of things to do in the area. I would love to book a stay here again!

The Hen House was absolutely wonderful to stay at! We had a wedding at Pinecrest, and our short walk to the venue made going to and from very convenient. The house itself was an oasis, with charming decor and landscaping--- many mornings drinking coffee/eating meals on the porch and patio. Fresh eggs from the hens was a unique touch! The house was immaculately clean, and provided all immenities/kitchenware that we needed. We had 4 adults (2 couples), and had plenty of space for us to be comfortable. Amanda was SUPER responsive to any questions and went above and beyond with being flexible when possible and provided helpful suggestions for places to checkout! (trails walking distance from the house and/or a short drive away, restaurants, activities, etc). I would highly recommend and consider returning for a future trip!
