The house sits high on a hill with wonderful views in seven hectares of land which it shares with another smaller house lower down the hill.With many windows, 150m² house has a great sense of light and space. It has two double bedrooms one of which has en-suite bathroom, the other with bathroom adjacent ,the third bedroom with twin beds is on a mezzanine reached by steep stairs. Large open plan kitchen/dining/living area fully equipped, comfortable sofas, big open fire and long dining table. The bedrooms are spacious and light with French doors leading to the outside patios, mezzanine is very large with two single beds and bookshelf with big selection of English and Italian books for adult and children.En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath, shower, basin and wc. Bathroom to share for bedroom 2 and 3 adjacent to bedroom 2 with shower, basin, wc and bidet. Kitchen with big wooden work surface fully equipped with cooker, oven, dishwasher, and separate pantry opposite with fridge, freezer, washing machine and food space. The garden is beautiful and large with a green lawn leading off the furnished cover patio.

We had a wonderful time at the house of Fede and James. The space is perfectly arranged, nothing is missing. The house has all the amenities and is very cozy. We had no problems with getting there, although we arrived on the island very late and in the middle of the night, the house was waiting, heated and with the lights on. The location is perfect, you can admire phenomenal sunrises and sunsets, there is plenty of green space, perfect if you are traveling with a dog. There is a town nearby where, despite the winter season, many restaurants and bars were open. We received a lot of recommendations from the hosts, they are very nice people and they try very hard to make your stay perfect. We lived there for almost 5 weeks, my husband worked remotely during this time and the Internet was sufficient for remote meetings. We definitely recommend it!
We had a wonderful time at James and Fede‘s beautiful house near Arzachena. Both of them were super nice and kind and very easy to communicate with. They gave us great tips and recommendations for the area. Their neighbour Marco organized the check in and he was extremely nice and welcoming as well. The house is beautiful and looks exactly as in the pictures. The view there is amazing and the sun-rises and sunsets were so so beautiful. We stayed there with our friends and two small kids. James and Fede provided us two cribs and two baby chairs which was perfect for our needs. The house had a dollhouse and a little kitchen which our kiddos loved to play with. There is one very steep staircase where you have to keep an eye on the small ones. But all in all it was beautiful and simultaneously practical for our stay as two young couples with two kids. The north of Sardinia is definitely worth traveling to. We definitely think about coming back to james and fedes house :)
Cozy remote house surrounded by nature. Perfect for us. If you’re looking for buzzy city life this is not for you.
we spent a week at the house and loved it! also for our kids (2y & 4m) it was great .. and Fede, James and Marco even provided very helpful suggestions for hikes and climbing. we're looking forward to coming back!
Logement au calme en pleine nature avec un accès par un chemin escarpé. Calme assuré. Il est conforme aux photos, très spacieux et bien équipé. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Marco. Fede et James sont également très réactifs. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et conseillons cette location.

Sardinia is perfect for tours on racing bike,very good asphalted panoramic and hilly roads with beautiful surroundings.Local food is excellent (with typical home made gnocchi and roasted piglet) can be tasted in numerous agriturismo dotting the island. Sailing is one of the main attraction and it's possible to visit the enchanted Maddalena Arcipelago with day charter boats from Palau or Cannigione. Important Nuragic sites very close to the house.
Coast/Beach:
Situated in the North East of Sardinia. 13 km from Cannigione in the Arzachena Gulf with beautiful beaches only 15/20 mins drive away,25km from Porto Cervo and the Costa Smeralda,20km from Palau and the spectacular Maddalena Arcipelago and Porto pollo windsurfer paradise. 35Km form Santa Teresa di Gallura and the west coast with more secluded beaches and surfable waves.
Travel:
Olbia Airport is 25km away, the ferry port is either Olbia or Golfo Aranci 35km away. Car essential. Last 900 mt of road to access the house is unsurfaced and not suitable for sports car.
Distances:
The nearest town is Arzachena 8km away and has all the facilities of a small town with shops, supermarkets, fresh produces and craft market once a week (Wednesday), medical services, pharmacy, bank, etc. 15km form the charming San Pantaleo village with its famous craft market,art galleries and boutiques.
