Our house is located in a picturesque and quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. You can actually walk to the airport in 20 minutes but we don't get the noise from there because of our angle to the runways. It is absolutely quiet here, except for the birds chirping!
In five minutes you can be in the marina where there are restaurants. Just past the marina is "Amager Strand Park" which is a 4 kilometer long beach promenade and areas with dunes and trails. Great for swimming or long walks. I love it in winter too, when the sea is wild and there is ice everywhere.
Just around the corner is a small shopping street with a café, two small supermarkets, a couple of fast food places, a Chinese restaurant and some other shops.

Our location is perfect as we are close to buses and the Metro which will take you anywhere you want in a short time, including the center of the city in about 15 minutes. The airport is one Metro stop away, and it lands you directly in the airport, so you can get there in ten minutes from our house.
There is lots of free parking on our street for normal size cars.
