Malheureusement mi-avril, nous avons quelque peu souffert des courants d’airs du fait du mauvais état des menuiseries extérieures. Les salles de bains sont rudimentaires et l’une d’elle est vraiment minuscule. La rénovation du gîte gagnerait à être poursuivie… La communication avec Marie s’est bien passée.

My family had a lovely stay at Marie's place. The house had so much character, great views, and the bedrooms were really comfortable. A highlight was relaxing in the garden with a view of the ocean– our 3-year-old daughter had a blast exploring and collecting millipedes. Marie and her friends were very welcoming and incredibly helpful, giving us all sorts of tips about family-friendly things to do and even helping us find a place to get warmer clothes when we had looked at the weather for the wrong Mons! Mons was a great place to base our exploration of the region. Thank you Marie for a lovely stay!

If you’re looking for a place to stay, with a breath taking view, look no further. The house is located in Mons, a little hilltop town without any traffic. We had to sleep with the windows open, as the temperature in the house did rise a bit (we were there in the middle of a heatwave). However, we did notice that there was noise coming from surrounding houses every night during the week we stayed in the house. Also the church bell was ringing every 30’. Nothing to fault the house with. The house itself has everything you need, mainly to accomodate an adult group. We enjoyed the gifted bottle of Rosé when checking in. We were also able to check in a bit sooner then the foreseen time, which was great. There is a free parking within 3’ walking distance, so the fact that the tow is car-free is not an issue at all.

Very pleasant stay at a very charming old village. The house was 4 floors, with a beautiful view. In particular it was very nice that the house was relatively "cool", probably due to the thick stone walls of the houses , so we had no problem sleeping. Part of the house dated back to the 15th century , we were told . The house was gently renovated and very charming. The village itself was also very charming with its winding streets and passageways. 3 restaurants and a very nice bakery, but no stores, so you will have to go to Fayence for the supermarked. But that is the whole charm of the village, it is a little like St.Paul de Vence, but without the thousands of tourists, very nice.
