The apartment was very easy to find and entry into the apartment was easy as well. What was a surprise, was how steep the stairs to the apartment are. If you have any kind of physical limitation, this apartment is not for you. The steps are steep, and small. Getting luggage up was very tricky. Also, many nights that we returned from sightseeing in New York City, we would find the front doors, propped open with a doorstop allowing anybody into the building. Also, the staircase was often filled with packages and envelopes that no one picked up. Inside the apartment was clean just not as clean as other Airbnb that I have rented. Lighting was an issue in the rooms such as the closet and bathroom. It definitely needs updating. In the kitchen, there wasn’t even paper towels available or a dish drainer when you wash the dishes. The beds were OK, but not great. Location was great and spacious. If you only need a place to shower and sleep, this place is for you.

Great place to stay for up to 8 people for a reasonable price just across the Hudson river and 20minutes from Times Square by bus. The big apartment has two bedrooms, which worked perfectly for us as we went there with 4 persons, 2 couples. Further sleeping spaces are air madrasses and a couch in the kitchen. Victoria was super fast and helpful for any kind of question.

Nice brownstone, but hallway smelled like and looked like a dog lived there. Not good. Narrow stairway to hike to 3rd floor. Futon cushion was no good(I went to the floor ) and only seating in front room beside bar chairs and stools from bedrooms. I had to blow up 3 air mattresses before 1 stayed up. Got tired of that and decided to bunk with one of my trip mates. No response on what to do with the trash and laundry upon leaving. Other than that we made the best of the situation and enjoyed our trip.

Die Wohnung von Victoria ist wirklich toll gelegen und die Fotos entsprechen der Wirklichkeit. Sie hat auch schnell geantwortet. Leider waren wir aber insgesamt enttäuscht weil es nicht sehr sauber war und viele Dinge gefehlt haben. Die Küche war sehr mangelhaft ausgestattet, zum Kochen waren kaum Utensilien da und es gab zum Beispiel nur 3 Becher, aber wir waren 5 Personen. Auch gab es nicht genug Betten obwohl die Wohnung für 6 Personen ausgelegt ist. Das Sofa war schon sehr kaputt und ist für eine erwachsene Person viel zu klein und mehrere Luftmatratzen waren kaputt und haben schon innerhalb weniger Stunden Luft verloren. Es gab auch nicht genug Bettwäsche und genug Handtücher, das war sehr enttäuschend, da das Voraussetzung sein sollte wenn man die Unterkunft für diese Anzahl an Leuten buchen kann. Bei den Betten waren die Matratzen sehr weich und durchgelegen. Die Fenster im Schlafzimmer waren undicht und es war sehr laut und kalt, sodass wir Handtücher davor legen mussten.
