We had a lovely stay at the apartment. Descriptions and photos are accurate. The property is very close to the center of town, however the hill to get back is quite steep and not ideal for the elderly or families with strollers. Ahmet was extremely helpful and a great host.

The apartment and the view were amazing. Very close to the center, just 5 min walk. The host was also very helpful and super kind. We were able to find anything that we needed in the apartment and the house was very clean and neat. Plus there is a parking lot. We wanna come back again just for the breathtaking view :)

A wonderful location overlooking the pretty town of Kas. Excellent accomodation and lovely pool.. Ahmet and Marie are most welcoming hosts. We will be back!

Evin konumuyla ilgili soru işaretlerimiz vardı ama ama çarşıya yürüyerek 5 dk sürüyor. Sadece dönüşte yokuşu çıkmak yorucu olabilir ama gün batımını burdan izledikten sonra yokuşun önemi kalmıyor. Ev gayet temiz ve güzeldi, Ahmet & Marie ise tatil süremizce bi çok konuda bize destek oldular.

Appartement très propre et conforme aux photos, avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. L'appartement est située au rez de chaussée, d'un petit immeuble. L'appartement des propriétaires est mitoyen, et il y a également un appartement au dessus. La piscine est partagée, mais une table et un espace extérieur (donnant sur la piscine) sont réservés pour l'appartement. Ahmet et Marie ont été des hôtes parfaits!

I, Ahmet, was born and raised in Kas. I love my country and my hometown and I plan to continue to live in Kas as long as I can! Marie is Belgian (from the French speaking part of Belgium) and her first trip to Turkey dates back to 2005. Every year, we have hundreds of visitors who ask us ‘What’s your story?” “Marie, what brought you to Kas?” Well, here it is : Ahmet and I met in Kas in 2005 when I was traveling through Turkey for the first time with two friends. At the time, I was staying in a small pension that was run by Ahmet, a pension that his parents first established in the 1980s when tourism started to develop in Kas. He has been in the hospitality business since he was a child, helping his parents run their pension. Later on he purchased a building in the same neighborhood, and created the “Hideaway Hotel”. As for me, after many trips between Belgium and Kas, and later on between Kas and Ankara where I worked as a French teacher, in June 2007 I decided to move to Kas permanently and we started to run the business together. Later on, we bought the penthouse apartment and rent it to other travelers. We got married in October 2008 and continue to work together since then. We both love traveling over the world with our children in the winter, and when we cannot travel because the hotel keeps us busy, we feel lucky to meet other travelers who want to share their stories and culture with us.
