Beautiful place to stay, private, very clean, great shower!, well equipped and a nice little welcome pack on arrival. Great views over the firth, some nice walks from the doorstep and easy access to the rest of the island. Recommended.

We found the house warm all day and comfortable with a great shower, very much appreciated after walking. It was also well equipped for catering. The tv including Netflix etc was a plus too. The walk to Glenashdale falls from the house was beautiful. We enjoyed bacon rolls at The Coffee Pot overlooking the sea and a meal at Most Eden in Whiting Bay. Cruize Bar Brasserie in Broderick was special too. Everywhere we went the islanders were so welcoming and happy to see us. Thank you Julie and Malcolm.

A perfect place for our week’s stay on Arran. Fantastic views over Whiting Bay with brilliant hosts who let us get on with things but were there if we needed them. A short walk to the local 18 hole golf course. Not far from Glenashdale Falls and other interesting sites. Charming village with all the shops that you need and interesting fooderies. The accommodation was superb. Very warm and comfortable. A well equipped kitchen which made eating in so easy. The takeaway pizzas from the Lamlash Bay Hotel were excellent. Good counter to make the G & Ts my fellow guests “demanded” with a good supply of ice in the freezer. Lovely decking to sit on with aforementioned G & Ts in the uncharacteristic March warmth. Walk in rain shower to ease the aching muscles after our many walks, not to mention the jacuzzi bath for the serious aches of those of us who were less fit. We loved everything about Julie and Malcolm’s place and can’t wait to get back.

A great place to stay on Arran. The property is well equipped with plenty of parking and walkable to the sea front in Whiting Bay. What we particularly liked was the living room with its high ceiling, big windows and lots of light.

We enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was well equipped, spacious and a light and airy living space with views over the Forth of Clyde to the Air coast. Whiting Bay was a great location for us with easy access to the south end of Arran We enjoyed coastal walks, road cycling and general exploration. The village shop has some lovely produce and the Co-op at Lamlash not too far away. Our hostess was very helpful and friendly
