Cleaniless - the house is dirty in general, very dusty and grubby. Lots of stains on the walls and dirt on the kitchen worktops. Crumbs next to the toaster, mould in the microwave, dirt in the fridge and the sink was vile. Safety - one of the hob knobs was missing. This can't be safe. Also the bath is very deep and hard to get out of. A rail is needed. Towels - they are included!! Only 2 hand towels left out. We had to search for bath towels which were tatty. Bath - well that was a massive pollava. The plug didn't work then suddenly the suction kicked in and then I couldn't get it to drain. Key code - there were 3 sent, so which one do you use??? Key safe right above a grid, not the best idea!!! Key not on a ket ring so easy to lose. Location - 100% but it is not worth it for the state if tgd property. Overall feeling is ver poor.

Stokesley is a pretty market town and Paul’s place is right on the high street. There’s a coop very nearby. You can park right outside the house for 2 hours using a parking disc (there was one in the cottage) or there is road parking around the green which is only a short distance from the house. Parking restrictions don’t apply on Sundays. Great location for walks up Roseberry Topping and it’s only 20 minutes by car to Saltburn-By-The-Sea where there’s and old pier and funicular railway. You’ll usually see surfers at this stretch too.

Paul’s place was ideally situated and perfect for our stay. A cosy place in the heart of Stokesley. Had all we needed and made the stay relaxing.

Perfect location for food and drinks also perfect for walking the Cleveland way Roseberry topping and captain cook tower. Great local walks and easy access off the A19.
