We had a lovely few days on Whistable in this quirky cottage. Very dog friendly and a fabulous location for the high street and the beach.

We loved The Cooks Cottage. Beautifully presented and very comfortable. Surprisingly roomy and spacious enough for us as 5 adults. Superbly placed close to The High Street and at the end of a No through road, so really quiet but equally perfect for shops, beach, great dog walks and restaurants. Once parked up for the weekend (bar one trip out), we didn’t have any use for the car. Garden space, garden room and outdoor kitchen all fab. Would love to return in warmer times to make more use of it. All told - very cosy atmosphere to it with great attention to detail. Loved the fairy lights everywhere. Bathroom felt luxurious. Great to have the space to eat round the dinner table for those stay in evenings. Definitely want to return. Oh yes - and lovely for it to be so dog friendly yet feel like such a tasteful treat.

This is a lovely house close to the main street and beaches. A real recommendation for all who want to explore on foot. The house is clean and comfortable, a private and cosy garden. We just loved it!

The house and location were perfect, loved sitting out in the garden. the stairs were steep but we managed them even after a glass or two!
