Pros. The house seems newly built and has a very nice layout (fortunately we did not have to use the fourth bedroom though, it's a windowless room in the basement as we found out) The pool was great. The views to the ocean some 500 meters away and the city across the bay were wonderful and the location is good, 7 minutes with a taxi or 15 minutes walk to the nearest centre of shops and retaurants. Cons: The house needs minor repairs and attention, there were loose tiles, loose bricks, torn curtains, curtain hangers loose, cabinet doors skewed, broken handles on cupboards, dishwasher not closing properly, drains clogged, and there was a rather dangerous looking broken electric outlet in the kitchen. Host was also quite unresponsive. We asked about cleaning supplies, a rag and a spray bottle to wipe down tables after a meal would have been nice, and we asked if there was salt an pepper somewhere in the "fully equipped kitchen". Got an answer two days later saying there were no cleaning supplies provided but there was salt and pepper, (there wasn't any) We also asked for a later checkout and we also informed the host that we had seen and heard a mouse, inside the kitchen cabinets. But recieved no answer before our checkout. Bed pillows were stiff foam, not very comfortable and it would have been nice to have a nicer blanket to sleep under, it was a heavy cotton quilt. Summary: All in all we had a nice time but I think for the price we payed we would stay somewhere else next time.
