The best part of this Airbnb is the beautiful terrace overlooking the picturesque view of Positano and the ocean. It also comes with a kitchen that’s great for cooking if you’re up for a ten minute walk to the local fish market and store. But make sure you go earlier because all the fresh fish are gone by the afternoon. The host is also so kind and thoughtful and she made Positano feel much more human. She was the most helpful host I’ve experienced and made our stay much more manageable helping us with transportation and everything. The walk to the main beach area of Positano may first seem overwhelming but it’s actually a quick fifteen minute walk down the winding road. It goes by much faster than it looks. There is also a bus stop right in front of the Airbnb which was super convenient after spending the day in the main beach area.

I can’t speak more highly of our stay at Salvatore’s home, it was clean, well-appointed with every essential amenity needed (shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, coffee, iron, etc.) and central to everything in Positano while being a bit away from the crowds/noise. Salvatore went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time, helping us book reservations with excellent recommendations. We were delighted by the change of sheets and towels halfway through our trip. Salvatore was communicative and so helpful!We chose this place for the views of all of Positano and the short distance walk to the beach, roughly 15 min by stairs. We highly recommend renting a scooter for your stay as it’s a fun and easy way to get up the hill. Do make it a point to book a couple boat tours, especially as sunset, skip a driving tour if you’re short on time and do a boat instead as it’s the best way to see the coast. We would love to stay at Salvatore’s place again!

If you’re looking to visit Positano and want to wake up to the best coastal sunrises and enjoy full views of the city, this is the place for you. The space itself feels very clean and recently remodeled, with great details and moments reflecting the homes’s past. The small kitchen has all you need for your time away, an espresso machine, and be sure to get some local oranges and use the juice squeezer for fresh orange juice…amazing! Salvatore was incredibly responsive and even coordinated taxis and an amazing all day boat ride, with local restaurant recommendations. There are a few restaurants and shops nearby, but know that the house itself is quite high on the coast, so to get the main busy part of town with lots of restaurants you will either need to climb many stairs, take a bus, or rent transportation. Our group is fairly active and did enjoy the challenge of climbing and navigation through staircases. We also enjoyed being up and away from all the activity, highly recommend!

Great place to stay with a wonderful view. 5 minute walk to a cafe/bar and market and a couple delicious restaurants. I’d recommend taking the road up and down Positano instead of the stairs. Salvatore helped arrange transportation and a boat trip to Nerano.

Salvatore’s airbnb was very clean and had a beautiful view. However, location was hard since it was a distance to walk to shops, beach and restaurants. Although there is a bus near by which we did use at end of our stay. Salvatore is so helpful and really makes your stay enjoyable.
