My boyfriend & i had the best time with our two pups! Exactly what we needed, getting away from the chicagoland area! Quiet, beautiful & quaint - Gary, Lora & Cindy were all very friendly & we appreciated the apple pecan bread!! Would love to come back & check out the other airbnbs they have near by!
We enjoyed our stay and got to experience the 2024 total eclipse. The place was exactly as described, perfect for a couples retreat.

My husband and I were traveling through the area on our honeymoon with no set plans and found the little house in the pond! Lora was so friendly and great with instructions and very responsive!! We enjoying fishing at the pond and relaxing!! We will definitely be back!!

Hi my name is Lora Blair! I’ve been married 27 years to my high school sweetheart, Wade Blair. We have 8 kids and 3 grandbabies! We love the craziness of a big family and are trying to slow down! We are just down the road from the main farm where we homeschool and run 4 Airbnb properties, 3 of them are on the farm. Most of the time it’s just the kids and myself, because my husband’s job is in Missouri. Our retirement goal was to move back closer to home to learn to farm and help my parents stay farming as long as they were able. An opportunity presented itself so we moved down early. You will likely meet my dad, Gary, during your stay. He loves to show off what he’s accomplished here in Everton.
