Amazing location in the centre of Bowness. Quirky layout but well equipped and nice to have a balcony. Helen was helpful and friendly and our stay with 5 adults was very comfortable. Just be prepared for the steep driveway and make sure to do your research to make the most of what the area has to offer. Loads of restaurants nearby and a pub right across the road. Tesco, decent coffee and good fish & chips are only a short walk. Great spot for walking, boating and exploring.

Our family bought this cottage in 1998 and spend many lovely holidays there with our young children. We have rented it ourselves for 20 years and still have guests who stay annually from that time. Trying to move along with technology in today’s world we have also decided to list on this site to reach a wider audience. Over the years we have seen many changes in Bowness village and it’s popularity continues to grow. Please feel free to ask us for any advice on places to visit in the area, best restaurants/bars, Lakeland walks etc and we will be happy to share our knowledge with you.
