We loved our stay. Had no other guests so we didn’t have to share the “common places”. The place was better than the pics which is rare IMO. Cell and WiFi service left much to be desired but that’s not owners fault. Hope to return soon and bring my whole family. Many places to eat within walking distance. Considering the other options on the island for housing, the Baronesa suite was expensive but worth it especially since we had the whole house to ourselves. Once in a lifetime type of trip so drop the extra money and stay here. It was the most expensive nightly stay in our 18 day trip to Ecuador and worth every penny.

This airbnb is so very beautiful and the views of the ocean are amazing. We enjoyed leaving the doors to the balcony open at night so that we could hear the ocean and feel the ocean breeze. The place was extremely clean. The place is in a great location within quick walking distance of shops and restaurants; it is right on a sandy beach that also has black lava rocks where we saw many marine iguanas and colorful crabs. When we needed assistance( we were locked out of our room) someone came and helped us within about 5 minutes of being called.; the customer service was excellent! The only reason that we are not giving a 5 star rating is that there are a few maintenance issues. The jets in the tub didn’t work( the button was broken) This should have been repaired before we arrived or else we should have been informed of the problem in case we wanted to cancel. This was an expensive rental and we were expecting to enjoy the luxurious bathtub. Also kitchen cabinet doors didn’t function properly( very difficult to close) and a patio door was very difficult to close. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but wish that maintenance issues had been taken care of prior to the rental.
