We had a great stay here. We had a little trouble finding it but it was worth the effort. The house is cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. A particularly good set of kitchen knives! And a fantastic roof terrace overlooking the sea, with nice furniture for eating and sun bathing. Although the appartment is surrounded by other appartments it was amazingly quiet (mid-October) and we had the shared pool almost to ourselves. Weather was great. The nearest restaurant, Montemar, is very nice, and not at all expensive. Also recommended are the 2 beach bars on the Playa Isla Plana. The local supermercado is well stocked. We enjoyed a scenic walk (once we had got past the polythene tunnels) up into the mountains beyond the Cascada del Cañar. We only needed to contact the host on one occasion. Jo, the co-host responded immediately and was friendly and helpful. We may well be back. Thank you!

I've been to this area for many years and I can definitely say Jan's was the nicest, the solarium was lovely and had great views over the sea. it was clean and functional with all the amenities you will need. I would certainly recommend this villa, it was close to the pool which was welcome relief from the heat. The only thing I would say, and this is true of all the places on Mojon Hills is that it is a hill and therefore a little bit of walk to get to the beach which can especially for the elderly be difficult however, that said its a perfect place to stay.

De villa ligt mooi tegen de bergen. De huizen rondom worden met name door Spanjaarden bezet en tijdens ons verblijf was er nog geen 3% bezet waardoor het heel rustig was. De plek is een goede uitvalsbasis om naar de steden Murcia, Cartagena te gaan. En om prachtige en pittige gemarkeerde wandelingen te doen in de bergen. De zee is op loopafstand. Wij konden de villa lastig vinden maar dat lag aan de navigatie en niet aan Jan! Om een drankje en hapje te doen is the social club aan te raden die heeft een terras aan de zee, op zaterdag is er ook live muziek. Wij hebben genoten.

This was our second stay here and we love it! As a triathlete I was able to swim in the sea, cycle the roads and run the hills in lovely surroundings. We could walk to all the amenities and particularly loved the social club on the sea front in Isla Plana - muy bueno. Highly recommended.
