We loved it and had so much fun. the trampoline was a favorite for the children. All the amenities made it so you always have something fun you can do. very peaceful location at the end of the road. We plan to return again.

Nice place, very peaceful. Great location. The only downfall was the paddle boat didnt work. We were looking forward to that. Honey bucket was gross but they usually are. But all and all we had a great time and enjoyed the spot. Could of been a little cleaner out front but didnt effect the camping area at all.

The property itself was beautiful, and Steve was easy to deal with. However, the fire pit, barbecue and the dock were all broken. The honey bucket didn’t appear to be cleaned and there was also garbage left all around the site from the previous users that was not cleaned. There were also animal fights at 4am outside our tent.. but not much anyone can do about that! Overall I think if the property was cleaned properly before use, we would’ve been more satisfied with our stay.

We've always had amazing airbnb experiences, until our stay here. Upon arrival, you're greeted by the condemned house which looked straight out of a horror film. We found condom wrappers on the unpaved pathway and stairs were made of loose rubble. We had to be very careful not to roll an ankle! Garbage & leftover food from previous stay was strewn on the site and the BBQ was doused in thick animal fat and encrusted in ash (we paid a cleaning fee!) BBQ also wasn't assembled properly and the boat was missing- also no instructions on how to operate things. I contacted the host prior to our trip for confirmation on all the amenities and he said all would be ready but that clearly was not the case. Roosters were cawing non stop (starting at 4am), dock was not sturdy and the site is not gated. He tried to fix his negligence halfway into the second day and gave us beer but it doesn't erase the disappointments upon arrival. Site seems unmanaged and I felt like vacation time was wasted here

I'll keep it to the facts. The lake is beautiful. Read the listing closely, there is a large condemned house right next to where you will be staying. The site was not cleaned before we arrived. There were two big piles of trash onsite with things like diapers and liquor bottles included. There was a condom wrapper left right where you enter to walk down. The dock is unsafe and caving in a bit in the middle. The barbeque was full of grease and old charcoal from the last people who used it. A man came to clean the trash which was nice I guess but should have been done before we arrived (guests before us was charged a cleaning fee). The gentleman was distracted on the phone and accidently sprayed our belongings with the hose for a good ten seconds (my purse included). Rooster starts crowing at 4:45am and doesn't stop until 9am. Neighbors drilling and hammering at 8am. Overall... would not stay again but lake was nice.
