Everything was perfect
Dennarque’s Koonawarra Cottage was a beautiful and tranquil hideaway. The gardens were lovely to stroll through, making you feel like you’re hidden away. The cottage itself was very comfy and cosy, with all the amenities you would think to need and more. A lovely stay and we hope to be back soon!
The AirBnB is located in a beautiful garden that was lovely to explore — the photos don’t do it justice. We had the estate to ourselves, which made for the perfect “private getaway in nature”with my fiancé. The AirBnB was also clean and comfortable inside. It is a ~50 min drive to Three Sisters and other popular Blue Mountain locations, but the drive was nice and scenic, so no complaints.
Extraordinarily beautiful place and especially the expansive magnficent gardens and surrounds.
Great place to unwind. Quite a big property to explore, and beautiful scenary.

Dennarque Estate is an important historical property located in Mount Wilson, NSW. The two level sandstone homestead, one of the original buildings in Mount Wilson, was built by Edward Merewether in 1879. The heritage gardens were originally planted by Charles Moore from the Royal Sydney Botanical Gardens. Today, the property retains many of the original plantings. Rarely open to the public, the cool climate gardens make an ideal mountain retreat. Dennarque Estate has four luxury cottages available, and sleeps 12 persons.
