Parrot Cove was a cute place to spend thanksgiving. We have a large family, so it was nice to be able to have two kitchens to prepare thanksgiving dinner and plenty of space for adults and kids to hang out. The only issues were that the washing machine kept giving us error messages, so we were unable to do laundry (which was a feature that we selected the place based on!). It was also advertised as a “lake house” but the lake in front of our dock was completely dry, so we couldn’t get the lake front photo we were hoping for. Apparently this is common this time of year at that lake. Other than that, it was a great house with plenty of pots and pans for cooking!

The house is very clean and is exactly as described. The one down side to the home is that there is very little privacy. Especially poor privacy in the master as the walls don’t go to the ceiling so it is completely open and you can hear everything . We used the home for the High Point Furniture Show so the location was not ideal for that purpose. It was a 40 minute drive. We did not use the lake amenities at all as it was a work trip. Communication with the host was great. She responded very quickly.
