The home is very nice and all it claimed to be. Barbara and Candice were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room had everything I could need. As a result, there wasn't anything else I needed. Very nice place, extremely nice people, great location - very short walk to the square - and very reasonably priced.

I highly recommend Laurel Ridge Inn. I stayed in the DeWitt room and it was very comfortable. The rain shower head was super nice! Candace was so sweet and so helpful with check-in, etc. I will definitely stay there again.

We were only in town for one night while helping family with a big project - and I'm SO glad I booked at Laurel Ridge. Even though it was a short stay (we had to check out early) - we got to enjoy so much! We booked on a night where the other rooms happened to be vacant, so Candice was gracious enough to allow us access to The Veranda (from the Veranda room). It was awesome to sit out there and eat dinner! We were also surprised to find that our room had a beautiful brand new bathroom attached to it! So there was the gorgeous communal bathroom with the tub and a private bathroom attached to our room with all brand-new everything! Candice answered all my questions with detail and care . I wanted to make sure I could self check-in and out (since we wouldn't be there long). The self check-in & out is very simple to use and secure . When you arrive you get a sheet with lots of info (wifi password, locking doors, contact numbers in case you need anything, emergency situation info) which I really appreciated. They gave us coupons to a local eatery that serves crepes, and that was quite literally the cherry on top. Everything was beautiful and the home was well kept . You can definitely see its over 100 year old from the beautiful architecture - but it's been kept up with meticulously and even has had really cool modern touches added (like in the bathrooms). Also , it's not haunted, so if you're worried about that - don't! The house overall just feels like a lot of love and care has been put into it. Make sure you factor in time to visit the antique shop downstairs. Overall - the pictures don't really do it enough justice. Stay here!

Amazing place! So charming and quiet. Perfect for a writer or someone who enjoys beauty and meaning. The house is old and well-kept, with fully remodeled rooms. Each appointed with striking and beautiful antiques. A fireplace in every room, but just eccentric enough not to be overdone. Was met at the door by the warm hostess, Candice. She was very helpful and friendly. I had a nice soak in the giant tub and a peaceful night in the four poster bed. In the morning, I enjoyed a fresh coffee and crepes at the little cafe down the street - a gift from Laurel Ridge. Loved it!

Barbara has a beautiful home. The room is big and I loved all the natural lighting. The bathroom is clean and the bed was comfy.
