We always love staying at Lake Wabaunsee! The peaceful atmosphere can’t be beat. We enjoyed the boathouse and kayaks and the AC in the house works great- even when it was crazy hot outside. It was also nice to have the boathouse with the fridge and AC to take breaks from the heat. We found out after we arrived and had filled the dishwasher that it was broken- it would have been helpful to have a head’s up about that so we could have brought more paper plates and not had to load and then unload dirty dishes. I also found underwear (I’m assuming from a previous guest) under the bed in the master bedroom as I was packing to leave which was kind of gross and made me feel like the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. These were minor inconveniences in the grand scheme and overall we had a blast and really enjoyed our week!

Our group had a nice stay at Jim's property, he was flexible on check in time and let us in a little early. The place was clean and the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed the lake and it's close to a nice little golf course. Be prepared for the steps leading down to the lake, but once you get there it's worth it.
