This was the perfect accommodation and environment for our family reunion for Brian’s special birthday. The house has a marvellous ambience and accommodation is comfortable and spacious. The location and amenities (the beach club etc) are first class. We had wonderful cooks and memorable outings - highly recommended. We hope we can come back soon.

This hacienda is so beautiful! One of the best parts about staying here was using Juana as our cook and not having to worry about eating out. (There’s not much in the way or good food in chacala). The private beach is perfection…so gorgeous and private and mellow. We stayed with two families and all our kids had a blast together.

Our family get together of 10 was a great success at Hacienda Chacala. We had a wide range of ages (7-87) and there was something for everyone. Javier (the house manager) took care of every need and Juana and her crew really impressed us with their cooking skills. The beach club was just a short walk away, the nicest beach in the area and we really enjoyed the margaritas at the club...plus it was so convenient to have an umbrella and chairs set up for us each day. There was lots of space for the 10 of to share meals and hang out and also private areas if you want to take a break and read. The pictures don't do justice to how nice the house is...Thanks Daniel!

Our stay at Hacienda Chacala was absolutely fantastic! The house is beautiful and it is located in a gorgeous private community where you feel very safe, it’s very quiet, and you get to appreciate the beautiful jungle foliage. Although the house is not by the ocean, we were only a 5-10 min walk away from the beach club and its pristine, almost private, beach. They offer free chairs and umbrellas, and there are also three pools and a small cafeteria with very decently priced drinks and snacks. The house is beautiful with tons of space for large groups, a huge kitchen with everything you might need, and open plan kitchen, dining and living room so everyone can hang around. Everything was super clean, too. We specially loved the palapa next to the pool the has a charcoal grill and our family could not get enough of the pool! Although the weather was great, the pool was a little cold so we decided to pay a little extra to heat the water, and it was totally worth it. We used it morning and night in December! My wife and I particularly enjoyed the tennis courts inside the complex (5 min drive from the house, and free to use). Bring your own rackets and balls. On top of everything, what makes the experience even better are the personal services. Dan, the owner, was always responsive and helpful. Javier, the manager, was always responsive and can basically arrange anything you might need, from paddle boards to using the pizza oven, to transportation services. And Juana, who is in charge of cleaning and cooking was delightful, kind, always helpful, and never intrusive. One final but great perk is that there is small corner store right outside the complex that has anything you might need, and they deliver to the house for a small fee! Clearly we would love to go back very soon!
