Very nice hosts. Private bathroom. Option to work in their private office as well. Couldn’t have asked for more! I had a very nice stay at their place :)

I had the pleasure of living in Teresa and Alains home from the beginning of October until the middle of December. They were both fantasticly warm and friendly hosts, always ready to help me if I needed something. The dogs, Ginja and Baxie, are also incredibly kind and well behaved. The house, which is quite large, is located in a beautiful area outside of the city of Luxembourg. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the city centre by car, and approximately 30 minutes by bus. I worked in Kirchberg for the duration of my stay, and it usually took about 45 minutes to get to work by bus in the morning. There were never any serious delays, but there is a lot of traffic in the city centre at rush hours; this is true whether one takes the car or the bus, however, and cannot be avoided in a busy city such as Luxembourg. A great bonus about the location is the surrounding country-side, which has a lot of beautiful hiking tracks. A small disadvantage is that it can be a little tricky to get to the supermarket and stores in the nearby town without a car. The guest room I stayed in (there are two guest rooms, which are almost identical) was large, with a lot of storage space and a very comfortable bed. It also has a smart-tv attached to the wall, with Netflix and plenty of channels. In addittion, there is a bathroom with a shower reserved for the guests, conveniently located right outside the rooms. And even though the ground floor living room is reserved for Teresa and Alain, there is a huge, second living room with a couch and a desk which I used as an office. The kitchen is also great, and has everything you need to cook and prepare food. As as great addittion, there is also a small fridge which is reserved for the guests. All in all, I wholeheartedly reccomend staying with Teresa, Alain, Baxie and Ginja. I definitely hope to be coming back if I visit Luxembourg in the future.

A very warm couple that welcomes you to their house and will take plenty of time to explain everything in and outside the house. The area is very calm and is close to the Mullterthal trails. An outstanding kitchen full of spices, coffee, tea, fruits and water is at your disposal and they are even so kind to lend you their mountainbikes. I felt very welcome. The only downside was the fact we weren't informerd there was another room rented out, but that's just a minor detail. Recommended!

Teresa and her husband were very friendly. Communication was excellent, quick and clear. The house looks beautiful, it was very clean and the bed lay comfortabel. Our stay was short, but very pleasant!

Teresa et Alain vous proposent un logement très bien agencé, calme, très bien équipé. Ils sont super sympa, très conviviaux et chaleureux avec leurs hôtes :-) Nous vous conseillons de leur rendre une petite visite si vous passez par là, vous aurez envie de revenir !
