The Rook Retreat was the perfect house for nine of us to celebrate my 50th birthday in style! The house itself is incredible with lots of space to socialise and there are beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. We also enjoyed the hot tub where we watched the sun set whilst drinking champagne – it was so lovely! Jemma was great to deal with, always on hand to answer questions and helping to make our stay as lovely as possible. We booked a chef recommended by Jemma (Terry from Perfect Chef 4 U) and I highly recommend him and his delicious food. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your incredible home.

I had a wonderful time at the Rook retreat celebrating my 40th birthday. Jemma was extremely helpful and responsive, enabling me to have an unforgettable celebration. If you’re looking for somewhere memorable for your next special occasion, I would recommend you book the rook. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Incredible stay for NYE & my dad’s 60th. Jemma was accommodating, responsive and super helpful, genuinely couldn’t ask for a better host. The property is gorgeous and great for large families. The hot tub view (and views from the property) are great and there’s lovely local pubs too. 10/10 would recommend!

The air BnB was delightful! All the things we expected and more! The place was clean, artsy, even had fun card games and interesting books to to read. Everything was in functional order and this place looked just as stunning in person as it did on the photos. No disappointments only pleasure. Will definitely try and come back! And Jemma was very easy to communicate to. Thanks again,
