We have a room to rent in our cottage, close to Cowes and near to the Medina estuary. We live here with our German Shepherd Archer, who is friendly, but if you’re allergic to dogs, this may not be for you. Only adults - no children unfortunately. Surrounded by fields, and close to a forest and the Medina estuary, the cottage is a three bedroom house, rustic with country charm of mixed stone and brick. You can feel at home and be private, or communal - it's up to you. We have fully decorated the room and replaced everything with new including carpet, bed, chair and curtains. The room doesn’t have a TV - there are two large TVs downstairs. Breakfast is included - continental. We are two miles south from Cowes, and two miles north of Newport, with the main bus route 200 metres away. There is a path along the property where you can walk or cycle to Cowes. Bedding and towels are provided. Free parking is available. You have full access to the living room, kitchen-diner, utility room (with a washer and dryer - £5 for washing), and garden. The bathroom is a shared downstairs bath, shower, toilet and sink, it's the only bathroom. There is access to an iron, hair dryer and straightener. Smoking is permitted outside. The cottage is our home, so there are photos etc around. The cottage is surrounded by fields with many foot-paths and a main cycle-route from Cowes to Newport.
