Joyce has a lovely rental and beautiful garden. It was cold while we were there and i especially liked the gas fireplace. The ambience was very nice.

Joyce’s place feels like a home away from home. She has everything extremely clean and comfortable. She even went above and beyond to leave snacks and drinks for us to enjoy and since we checked in late and felt exhausted those snacks were heaven. Thank you, Joyce for everything. We would love to stay at your place once again when we visit Seattle. Highly recommend your place!

Joyce's home was incredibly clean and cozy. The bed was comfy, the shower had great water pressure, she left snacks, it was a good temp, and plenty of ameneties- toothbrushes, sewing kits, Britta filtered water, etc. Joyce herself was there when we checked in and was very nice and showed us to the downstairs apartment. though it's below her home, we barely heard footsteps or any noise from upstairs. we would definitely stay here again next time we visit my brother, who lives in the area. it's convenient for that, but it could be a little far for central Seattle - though there's a bus stop right outside!

The location was perfect for me. I was visiting my daughter who lives nearby. There was ample street parking in a quiet neighborhood. With it being a basement, there was some noise above but nothing that prevented me from sleeping. The room was very clean and she had lots of homey touches. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy her gardens, but will definitely stay here again when visiting my daughter and hope to be able to spend more time relaxing in them.
