We had a fantastic stay, this Airbnb is really special and super comfortable. Everything from the hosts, to the views, vineyard and interior are great. If you are looking for a place to really unwind and relax away from a big town or city (but close enough to do day trips) then definitely book this place!

Gertrud and Pippo’s place is wonderful, clean peaceful. We felt at home ! The area is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and orchards, close to Etna, we could do day trips to Taormina, Savoca, Syracuse and even to Valle dei Templi.Gertrud was very helpful, always giving a lot of tips, also she reserved restaurants for up and even helped us finding a paediatrician for our daughter who got seek during the trip. I strongly recommend their place !

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse. We loved the garden and terrace. The kitchen was equipped perfectly! It is located very close to Etna and different hiking possibilities. Restaurants, supermarkets and cafes can easily be reached within 5-10 min by car. We travelled with our toddler and the accomodation was really great for children. We definitely recommend to stay here!

Beautiful to wake up to snow capped Mt Etna and to see olive and cherry trees on the other side of the flat! Just like the pictures. Gertrud & Pipo were very friendly and engaging. There is a gorgeous exposed stone studio next door and they are adding another unit that looks like it’s gonna be fabulous one which meant we were sharing the property, the terrace and the seating areas but luckily it was a friendly German couple that we had a few chats and snacks together- just didn’t expect it to be shared. You do need a car it’s typical Italian small town very hilly and narrow streets so plan your day accordingly if your not experienced with the roads bc it’s pitch black. We enjoyed ourselves and would stay again if we are ever in the area.

Very nice and peaceful place with a great view down to the sea and up to Etna! Great location for day trips on Etna and other locations nearby. Hosts are very friendly and helpful and always available. We stayed for two weeks because we intended to ski on Etna. Unfortunately, this season, there hasn’t been enough snow to open the ski resort on Etna Nord. However, there are enough interesting places to visit and food anyway is fantastic as is the wine produced on the slopes of Etna!
