Good, quiet and secure location. Antonio was a friendly host. It was lovely to be picked up from the port (we arrived quite late on our 1st night) and dropped off. The studio was clean and quirky, with a loft bedroom. We left our luggage in the kitchen/dining area as we thought it would be difficult to bring them up the steps to the loft above. The little garden had fruit trees and we even enjoyed a pomegranate fresh from the tree (compliments of Antonio) It is walking distance to Skala and cafe/restaurants. In hindsight, we thought that the price (with all the fees included) was a bit high for this time of the year. However, overall, we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Antonio greeted us at the port and took us to the villa along with our luggage at no extra charge! We were allowed to check in a few minutes early. He was very personable and introduced us to his wife. The Villa was clean tidy lovely. The bedroom had three outlets used for beautiful lamps that added ambiance to the sleeping area. The Villa advertised a HDTV and DVD player but neither of these existed. There was no dish towel nor paper towels. However, when we requested a dish towel and paper towels, Antonio made a special trip to the store to purchase paper towels for us and a dish towel was provided. The internet was extremely slow but Antonio warned us about that and can’t be faulted for poor reception. We had extremely poor internet service, constantly on and off, but Antonio was quick to try to resolve the problem by putting a router in our room. The problem seemed resolve for a short period but still wouldn’t stay connect. Antonio told me it was the best and fastest on the island which appeared to be true, but it still wouldn’t stay connected. They provided a bottle of water, instant coffee, tea bags, sugar packets, dishwashing liquid, some hotel type soaps, hotel type shower gel and hotel type shampoo. We purchased our own salt, pepper and oil; however, I’ll sure Antonio would had made sure we had these items had I requested them. The shower was small and water splashed easily out onto the floor. When we asked for an old towel to dry the water, Antonio’s wife brought a bath mat over and could not understand English well enough to understand the problem. When it was pointed out, she informed us there was a mop out back for us to clean up the water. While we were out the bed was made, the trash emptied, and some tidying up done both days which was an unexpected nice surprise! Antonio and his wife were excellent hosts! We enjoyed out stay in their nice, clean suite with a beautiful view of the mountains from the patio. It’s also within walking distance of town where there are nice restaurants, several small food markets, one big AB Market, shops, etc. and it’s very close to the port and bus stop, also. They really did anything we asked and even with internet problems,we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the clean colorful villa on the nice small island of Patmos!
