I highly recommend this place! It was extremely clean and gave our group so much space. I extra loved the wrap around porch with the rocking chairs. We used this place for our Yosemite trip. The gate is about a 45 min drive, but it was well worth it to have the restaurant options of Mariposa and a hot shower to return to after hiking!

I had a great stay at Scott's place. It's off the grid and a all wheel drive vehicle is highly recommend especially if there's been any recent weather. For being remote the neighbors are quite a bit closer than I would of imagined yet once on the property you really don't see them. if they do make noise or do yard work you'll know exactly how close they are I had one day where they were using a chain saw bummer but understand not under Scott control. The house is older, but was extremely clean and stocked with all supplies you would need. Mariposa is only 15 minutes away and has just about anything you would need and Yosemite is about 45 minutes to the gate but a good 1.5 hours until your really in the Park. I would recommend Scott's place to my friends and family and would stay again. Thanks for sharing your home. Steve

We had such a lovely time in Scott/Paola’s home. It was a bit of a last minute find and we’re so grateful to have found such a gem in beautiful Mariposa! It’s private and peaceful listening to the frogs/rain/creek running- awesome experience and can’t wait to come back again :)

This was such a cute and unique cabin! We loved the open kitchen/living area which was great for cooking and hanging out with the whole family. The curtains for the main bedroom was a nice touch to provide some privacy between that room and the loft bedroom (which was perfect for my daughter). The fireplace kept us toasty in the evening, as did the radiant floor heating. The kitchen was beautifully designed and we loved the rustic and functional space for cooking our meals. We spent 2 days exploring Yosemite valley (~1.5hr drive). Highly recommended AirBnB!

The house was perfect for our family of 5 plus our dog. The location is great, although it's rough terrain getting there once you're on that last road. Kitchen had EVERYTHING. We saw a lot of animals, deer and wild turkeys frequent the area. The shower was lovely and the house heated up quickly with the heating system and fire place. It took about an hour to get to the Yosemite park entrance, we went 3 days in a row which was easy because it's the off season. We ate at the 1851 restaurant and also the pizza place in Mariposa, both very good. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Yosemite or just looking foe a beautiful modern cabin-like experience in a beautiful setting.
