Let me just start by saying the picture that you see on Airbnb do not do this place justice (and they are great pictures). The home is so much more colorful and fun in person. We were honestly so blown away with the level of details. This home is perfectly curated and is an experience in Hermann all of it’s own. I was born in 1973, so there were so many things that took me back to childhood. From the game cabinet to the kitchen table and from the lighting to the wall decor…every time I looked around, I found a new treasure. Don’t think for one minute that this home doesn’t have all the modern conveniences, though. Nancy and Dan have made certain that you will be more than comfortable with comfy beds and bedding and updates galore! They just did an incredible job making the updates look “retro”. Additionally, they stocked this adorable house full of more amenities than you could imagine! Thank you Retrohaus, we loved every bit of you!

Nancy’s place was great and we will definitely be booking with her again! Everything was fantastic and we had a group of six and plenty of room! Very cool house…so much detail and so many additional amenities you do not always find at a rental on vacay. We have visited Hermann many times in the past and this air b&b is by far the best! Thanks again!

The Retrohaus was perfect for our ladies’ weekend. The comfortable king bed in the 3 bedrooms made everyone feel at ease. There were 6 of us and we never felt crowded. The cleanliness of the entire home was greatly appreciated. If you have taken the time to look at all the photos, descriptions, and amenities, you know that Nancy is incredibly detail oriented and has thought of everything! I have stayed in many rented homes and I’ve never had so many things included: Hand soap, dish soap, baggies of all sizes, paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates, trash bags, etc. There were snacks/candy/root beer float supplies/wine waiting for us at keyless check-in. The outdoor area was charming and we would have loved to use the propane fire pit but it got so cool in the evenings, we decided to stay inside and play games. The robes were appreciated for our spa evening! The house’s theme was so nostalgic and tastefully done. We loved it all! Would love to stay again! Thank you, Nancy!

Retrohaus was such a comfortable nostalgic home, from the moment we stepped inside we immediately felt right at home! Everything was very clean and organized! We had such a great time, and will def be back!
