A beautiful spot to stay for a few days with fantastic views of the river, surrounded by a lovely garden. The house was clean and comfortable with a full kitchen set up, there is a lovely deck to sit and admire the view. Only 30kms from Porto and a lovely drive to the Douro valley,

Fantastisk sted, forrygende udsigt, dejlig have, med mange forskellige blomster og citrustræer. Stor og hyggelig stue og køkken i et, som samler familien. Der er direkte adgang til skøn terrasse med skøn udsigt. Det var ikke poolvejr, da vi var i huset, men der er et skønt poolområde. Det er nemt at komme til Porto og Melres har fine vandreture. Adelino og Paula er særdeles i mødekommende og meget venlige. Der var frugt, kage og te da vi kom. Meget skønt. Man kan kun nyde dette sted. Tak for en dejlig ferie.

We enjoyed our stay at Adelino. It’s a beautiful garden with oranges, that you can eat and the view is spectacular. There were aircondition with heating and that worked well, when it was needed. It’s nice to stay in the nature with only 30 km from Porto. We parked easily in a carpark and walked around in the center. Pinhão and Aveiro were also nearby to visit, so good area to visit. Only bad thing was the weather, it was raining a lot, so maybe march is not the best time of year to visit Porto or we were just unlucky.

Perfect stay with perfect hosts. We LOVED this Airbnb! It had everything we needed to cook, and the view from the deck and pool was indescribably gorgeous. We will be back for sure!

The best airbnb I’ve ever stayed in . The pictures don’t do it justice, the views are breath taking . The house is so comfortable, lots of really nice touches , well equipped kitchen ect . Very spacious garden, and although it was a bit too chilly for the pool , it looked very well maintained. The hosts Paula and Adelino were warm friendly and very informative, nothing was a problem. I would like to return in the spring , me and partner and our 2 boys loved it . It was a lovely contrast, as we spent 3 days in the beautiful, but busy Porto . Melres has a quiet village feel , which we so needed . And not to far to explore the Douro valley, which amazing . We had the best time , thank you Paula and Adelino xx
