I loved this cabin and the area! The space was clean and tidy. We did find some mice droppings amongst the pots and pans. Kind of put us off on cooking but thankfully from reading previous reviews, I knew this was a possibility and had brought my own cleaning supplies to help make me feel more comfortable with the dishes after cleaning them myself with my own products. The hot tub was delightful though it could have had some more water in there. Overall, a great little vacation for us.

Beautiful location, loved the adorably cozy vibe. You can't beat being within walking distanceto the river! Some notes for if youre planning on visiting: The dead bolt on the front door does not work, only the door lock, the stairs on the inside are pretty sketchy (steep and the handrail/some steps are *very* wobbly, wouldn't recommend for children), has a TV with roku but no internet so it doesn't work, the shower works well but the faucet to fill the tub does not, one of the burners on the stove does not work, we were given absolutely no checkout instructions (messaged the host multiple times with no response to any of them prior to the stay), lots and lots of dead bugs everywhere, and there were some dirty dishes put away as if clean. Granted, some of these problems might not be an issue if you're looking for a camping in the woods adventure, but if you're staying for a local event some things were less than ideal.

Overall, it was a good stay. It was a beautiful spot, nice property and quiet area. Amenities and utensils are provided to help your stay more comforting and convenient. The mouse droppings were a bit unsanitary but you could tell that action is being taken to try to prevent this issue. The tub/shower worked well the first night and the next couple nights we couldn’t get it to turn over to the faucet to fill tub properly and the hot tub was a little low. Also, there was never mention of a dog that could possibly appear but he was a gentle giant and a pleasure to be around, just wish there was a notice. Thanks for the stay.
