We absolutely loved our stay at Sandra's house in Perinaldo. It has the most wonderful view of the surrounding hills and the mountains across the valley in front, and along the hill that Perinaldo is perched on. The garden is delightful, very private to the apartment which is on the ground floor (with the other floors of Sandra's family house above) and it has a very well kept green lawn, comfortable chairs and a covered outdoor dining area - we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy it. There is also an outdoor barbeque. The town of Perinaldo is charming, completely unspoilt so you feel you are going back to a previous century, it has very clean streets, they are too narrow for cars, so people park at the edges of the village in car parks provided; the village is quite small, with one long main street, but lots of little alleyways off to the sides to explore. It is not unlike the famous village of Eze on the coast, but without the tourists, and with views of the mountains rather than the sea, and much much quieter; it has little local grocery shops and 3 or 4 restaurants including one very near to Sandra's house. Sandra's house is at one end of the village so it is a short walk (3 -5 minutes) to get out onto quiet little country roads that wind through olive groves and mimosa trees. There is also a path up to the mountains behind the town but we didn't have time for an ambitious walk. Sandra and her husband were absolutely delightful: I have to mention their kindness to us, because we came without a car and we decided we wanted to arrive on a Sunday by train to Ventimiglia, and Sandra offered to come and pick us up and could not have been kinder. We left on the local bus, which runs about 3-4 times a day, and left bang on time, and cost about 1.5 Euros. I would like also to mention the bed, something that is important to us, and to say that the bed is a wide one, and it has a very comfortable mattress, and Sandra provides very good quality bedding and pillows, which made our stay very comfortable: little things like having new and fresh feather pillows and a wide double bed makes such a difference. We would definitely like to return to Sandra's house - I say house because you are on the ground floor, so it doesn't feel like an apartment, it feels like one of the best houses in the town with a garden and a view that is exceptional. It is a quiet and private place to escape, we loved it, I would definitely recommend it for couples wanting a completely peaceful break in a romantic and exceptional location.

Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen! Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und in der Küche man findet alles, was man zum Kochen benötigt. Wir haben die Tage gerne auf der Terrasse verbracht mit Blick auf eine wunderschöne Landschaft und Apricale. Perinaldo ist eine ruhiges, super süßes Dorf mit kleinen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Sandra ist total freundlich gewesen, war immer erreichbar und konnte immer helfen.
