we enjoyed our stay at vinecliff! the location is pretty perfect with all of the little towns not far away in all directions. the upstairs sleeping arrangements are very comfortable. we got so much rest on our trip!

Chautauqua County was a wonderful summer getaway for my family of 5-including our two pups. We had a great week spent mostly at the beaches (super close) and exploring the adorable town of Westfield and Lake Chautauqua. Midway State Park was a nostalgic throw back our kids had a blast at. The tenant and her family as well as the other guest staying on the property were lovely company to enjoy this week. Our “herd” of dogs certainly enjoyed themselves as well. The unit was a bit of a squeeze for our crew, but we made it work. They did a fantastic job remodeling while keeping the historic feel of the gorgeous home. We were unable to find/use the creek and maybe there are sunset views across NY 5 in winter of Lake Erie, but it was definitely too wooded and steep to safely get around over there. Regardless, we had plenty to go do and see and there were plenty of beach options super close we enjoyed and used frequently! Even found some beach glass! Make sure you visit Reverie Creamery for cheese!!! Yum!
