A very special lodge in a peaceful, idyllic location. Everything ran smooth from the booking, communication with the host and self check in. Very comfortable and well equipped. We particularly loved the hot tub and sauna. If you want a quiet, get away from it all break...in a location where you can only hear and see wildlife then this is the place for you. We can recommend the nearby Peacock Hotel where we had a fabulous Sunday lunch

We had wonderful 3 day stay, with our dogs. My partner was able to do some fishing. Lodge was very comfortable with everything we needed. Lots of pubs/restaurants nearby. Tried the Peacock Country Inn which was very nice. Drove into Thame for a walk around. We met Gary, who was very friendly & helpful. Hot tub was great Throughly recommend.

Amazing place to stay for my fishing mad boyfriend and me who likes to accompany him fishing, but this time being the supportive girlfriend from the hot tub where I could sit and chat with him while he fished just meters away! The cabin was so beautiful, everything you needed and more! Bathroom was stunning, the lights around the huge bath and the sauna was just insane😍 me and my boyfriend never wanted to leave and have said about considering living out of one, unreal! Had a little incident and messaged Gary late at night for a first aid box and he replied instantly and offered help. Hopefully we will be back!

The lodge was beautiful and exactly as described. We met Gary and Emma while there and both were so friendly and helpful. We went away for 3 days for a short honeymoon and the lodge couldn’t have been more perfect

Wow this place was amazing we so enjoyed being able to completely relax & switch off from our busy lives. Gary’s place offers not only a great place to fish surrounded by natural beauty but also offers the luxury stay in this beautiful lodge where we could indulge in some pampering with the private sauna & hot tub. Definitely going back again!
