Die Admiralsuite im Seitenhaus war unsere erste Unterbringung nach Ankunft in Sri Lanka und sie war perfekt zum Runterkommen und Ausschlafen des Jetlags! Obwohl es die ersten Tage viel geregnet hat, ließ es sich mit Überdachung und Blick auf den gepflegten Garten dennoch sehr gut aushalten. Insgesamt bot die Villa genug Auslauf- und schöne verschiedene Verweilmöglichkeiten auf dem gesamten Gelände. Da wir einen Roller gemietet hatten, störte uns die vom Strand eher abgelegene Lage gar nicht und wir fanden es schön auch etwas vom kleinen Dorf zu sehen. Für alle, die eine schöne gepflegte und ruhige Anlage mit viel Grün suchen und bereit sind hierfür etwas mehr zu bezahlen, können wir sie definitiv empfehlen!

Nirvana! This place is soooooo beautiful I can barely describe. I’ve stayed in a lot of air bnbs and this was the best in Sri Lanka by far. The property is literally immaculate, so clean, very stylishly appointed. The gardens are so beautiful and magical. It is private, quiet and just a beautiful place to escape to. You barely even need to leave although Hikkaduwa beach is a short tuk tuk away. Lastly I must mention all of the staff from Nimal and Sabina to everyone in the kitchen, housekeeping, working in the grounds. They really made the stay truly exceptional. I will be back. Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏

Our stay at Tropical House-Jungleside Villa exceeded all our expectations, calling it Bed and Breakfast is an understatement. Such an accommodation is difficult to describe with words but needs to be experienced in place. Rather it is Luxury & extravagance than B&B. The rooms are so tastefully decorated and spacious. Sitting in the nice colonnade outside the rooms in the evenings with a cup of coffee or tea is so relaxing. The pool area and the garden also follow the same tasteful style as the other accommodation. Beautiful flowerbeds and plants. It is easy to get to comfortable and not get down to the beach. A nice detail is that everyone sits and eats breakfast together around a large table, which means that one can naturally meet other guests. The breakfast was outstanding with everything one could wish for. Kerstin is a very caring and committed host. We were lucky that she was there when we lived there. It was very interesting to hear how she rebuilt the whole property and created this nice accommodation. Nimal and other staff of employees do a fantastic job to make us feel at home and to have a memorable vacation. If you want to get help with ordering a Tuk-Tuk or finding a restaurant it is just to ask them and they will arrange this directly. We want to thank You all for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. It has never happened before that our children have been sad to leave an accommodation which happened this time, the whole family enjoyed every minute throughout the stay. We warmly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for accommodation on Airbnb and we will definitely be back.

Das Tropical House ist ein wundervoller Ort, an dem man umgeben von einer wahnsinnig schönen Natur die Seele perfekt baumeln lassen kann. Das sehr große und weitläufige Grundstück und die beiden Häuser, die zum Tropical House gehören, sind sehr gepflegt, stil- und geschmackvoll und auch sehr sauber. Das gilt auch für die schönen Zimmer im Haupt- und Nebengebäude, die über seine sehr gute Ausstattung verfügen. Im ersten und zweiten Stock des Haupthauses wartet das Tropical House mit einem atemberaubenden Blick in den Dschungel auf. Im Nebengebäude werden die sehr schönen und großzügigen Zimmer durch einen sehr schönen Blick über das weitläufige Grundstück und den Dschungel gekrönt. Am großen Pool kann man herrlich entspannen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Verpflegung, insbesondere das wunderbare Frühstück, ist top - lovely hospitality. Bei Fragen zu Entdeckungen im Umland erhält man im Tropical House gute Hilfe. Das Verhältnis von Preis und Leistung ist hervorragend. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen und kann das Tropical House uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
