Awesome place! Booked it feeling adventurous and was not disappointed. The hike in from parking spot is rough, but I felt like the host was clear about that up front.

very quaint little spot. definitely don't book if you have any physical disabilities/difficulties, aren't comfortable with seeing a lizard or 2 in your home, uncomfy without ac, etc. this is definitely a place for somebody who can be comfortable in less than ideal situations. definitely not for somebody looking for a pristine, full amenity, or easy time. but it was great for me! the hike down the walkway is no joke, pack a flashlight or better yet a headlamp. hiking boots much better than flip flops. written directions to the place were a little confusing, but they sent me a maps pin which helped a ton. would recommend for the nature loving adventure seeker.

A rustic and serene "off the grid" experience that's somehow both secluded and also very centrally located - we saw some of the best wildlife on the island from the back porch. Natalia is very welcoming and exceptionally responsive to messages, she immediately answered my call to help find the parking area. Solar electricity and cistern water encouraged us to be resource-conscious and more connected to the land. We used a 2-wheel drive car and enjoyed the short and hike down from the road, would recommend bringing a headlamp if you're coming back late at night!

this house is cute and perfect for those who don't need much for a peaceful and relaxing stay. I hope others enjoyed it as much as I did.

Wonderful get away at 'Mi Conuco'! Basically "glamping" in the jungle. Pros: * Quiet, surrounded by nature. At night we enjoyed the jungle chorus, better than any sound scape. In the morning, greeted by bird song. Perfect for reading and reflecting. * Natalia is an excellent communicator. Rapidly responded to questions & made sure we had arrived safely. * The room is centrally located; easy drive to both Isabella II & Esperanza. * Near outlooks w/ fantastic views * Excellent wifi * Kitchen sufficient for basic cooking * Horses nearby Things to consider: * Trek from main road is steep & uneven. Not for couch potatos or anyone who is mildly unsteady on feet. * It's hard to find at first. Natalia's directions will get you there, but not the most easy or straightforward. * Not in easy walkable distance to attractions * Cannot drink water-- must haul in drinking/cooking water * Shower unheated, but refreshing on hot day. * Visits from jungle critters * No a/c, but there is a good fan
