Villa Carrera is absolute paradise! The house is gorgeous - exactly like the pictures. It sits on a pristine beach and feels very private. My group loved the gorgeous pool and close proximity to the beach. The house is also near Playa del Carmen which was very convenient. The housekeeper, Patricia, is so wonderful. She prepared the most delicious meals for us and made a birthday celebration in our group so special. We made incredible memories at Villa Carrera and can't wait to return in the future!

I'm afraid that I just don't have enough superlatives to describe how wonderful our stay was at Villa Carrera. Everyone in our group, which included some of our kids and grandkids, loved every minute there. The house is beautifully designed, perfectly maintained, and extremely comfortable. And the view is magnificent. Plus, it was always difficult to decide whether to swim in the ocean or the pool each glorious day so we usually did both. On top of all that is Patty, the house manager, who graciously took care of all of our needs. Five stars are not enough for this gem of a house on Playa Paraiso!

Our group of 9 (6 adults, 2 kids, and 1 baby) had a terrific stay at this gorgeous house. The setting is unbeatable - it is directly on a pristine beach, with a beautiful pool and impeccably designed pool deck immediately adjacent. The house itself is stunning, with striking architecture and furnishings, lots of space, an amazing living and dining area, gorgeous and modern bathrooms for each of the 4 bedrooms, and 2 additional half baths (one inside, one that opens onto the pool deck) that aren’t shown in the listing. The master bedroom and bathroom in particular are a sight to behold. What really made the stay, though, was all of the incredible help and attention we received from the housekeeper, Patricia. She went grocery shopping for us, cooked meals to order whenever we asked, and cleaned every day. Highly, highly recommended.

I rented this house for my immediate and extended family as a Christmas gift. The house and location were beautiful and peaceful, but the house manager, Patty, made the entire visit. Patty (along with her small crew) is extremely kind, personable, hard-working, and meticulous. She went above and beyond attending to the many needs of our large family. We opted to have Patty make meals and do shopping for us in addition to her included cleaning and hosting duties. Within 10 minutes of us arriving - she had made ham and cheese quesadillas and cut up fresh fruit for my kids. This hospitality continued throughout the entire trip. She always seemed to be there exactly when we needed her - anticipating our needs before we even thought of them. The experience on offer at this house is well worth it and beyond what you would get at a normal resort. Thanks to the host and especially Patty!
