The property comes with a small, cozy yet comfortable private room suitable for solo explorers, couples, small families traveling with their pets or kids. The space is well connected to the city yet with a serene & peaceful environment. Admire & explore the places in Dehradun from our cozy, quiet space. Local guests will not be entertained. Living Area Going into the cottage, you will enter the living area where the guests can relax & unwind, play the uke, read from our collection of literary fiction, or play random board games stocked up for our guests. ~Harry: “So light a fire!” Hermione: “Yes — of course — but there’s no wood!” Ron: “HAVE YOU GONE MAD? ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT?” Kitchen The space comes with a small & shared kitchen with all the basic amenities & appliances Cook Top Refrigerator Oven Electric Induction Toaster Juicer Coffee maker (With a selection of best coffee from around the world) Basic stuff to prepare your breakfast Milk Egg Cookies Bread Maggi Cheese Tea & omelet can be prepared on guest request. "Have a biscuit, Potter" Your Room Space (1st Floor) The bedroom comes with a double bed to comfortably sleep two. Designed to be a small & cozy place to be living in. Extra bedding can be provided to the guests when required. The Bath comes with basic amenities (Handwash, Body Soap, Shampoo, slippers, etc)

The perfect place for disconnecting and having some personal downtime. The room is spacious with minimal furniture and ample of fresh air/sunlight. The entire set-up will make you feel welcomed and at peace. The cottage is home to two doggos and a sanctuary to about six-seven strays. The host, Gaurav, and his wife, Poem, are extremely generous and warm folks. Gaurav LOVES feeding people and will always put out a lavish breakfast spread. If I wanted to venture out for some local sightseeing, I was helped with an itinerary that suited my thirst for adventure, instead of the typical touristy chaos. From taxi services to cafe recommendations, Gaurav knows it all. Your privacy is maintained, with no disturbance from the hosts. You can stay cooped up in your room all day and enjoy every bit of the silence. There's an extensive collection of books across genres for avid readers. Overall, the experience is worth every penny!
Our stay at The Blue Cottage Dehradun has definitely been our best experience with AirBnB so far. The moment we were welcomed by Gaurav with Marshall in tow, we knew we had come home. The Blue Cottage is the very exact cozy home a bibliophile has ever dreamt of.. It is everything on your pinterest board – but better! Warm, welcoming, pretty, cozy with lots of plants and loads n loads of books of every genre… It is designed with abundant passion & amazingly keen eye for details – all credit to Poem 😊 The pictures – though beautiful - definitely do not do justice to the calming, peaceful energy of this place. Gaurav & Poem are so much more that just superhosts… Meeting them for the first time felt like meeting old friends.. They are so warm, very genuine people, loving pet parents.. We fell in love with the gang of fur babies here – Blue, Marshall, Coco, Tuna, Maddie.. Gaurav is super enthusiastic to rustle up a soothing hot cup of chai (truly the best we have had) or a delicious coffe
If you want a get away from your daily hustle bustle while feeling right at home. The Blue cottage is exactly what you're looking for. With calm surroundings, comfy cozy rooms and a space full of greenery this place is exactly how it looks in the pictures. Gaurav and piyu's home cooked meals and the effort to make you feel just at home is unmatchable.And not to forget coco and marshal will fill your mornings with joy..Visiting back as soon as I get a chance. 💙 -Apoorva

The place made us feel at home with tidy rooms and homely environment at the living room. We were free to use the kitchen at midnight. The host treated us as their personal guest. A very comfortable stay with peaceful environment

The space is located at Sahastradhara Road from where you can either explore dehradun city or drive towards Musoorie, Landour & Maldevata. We try to make it a comfortable living for every guest so, we refrain from playing loud music and make it a peaceful & quite space. The parking space is open, safe & right next to the cottage.
You can search for “The Blue Cottage” on maps and you should be able to locate our property. If you are driving feel free to park your vehicle in front of our villa.
